To use Shadow after installing, you'll still need a complete pairing file for this iPhone.

Finish on your iPhone

  1. Confirm the iOS install prompt

Tap Install when iOS asks, then check your Home Screen. Keep this page open for the next steps.

  2. Trust the developer

Open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management. Select the developer associated with Shadow and follow the trust prompt. iOS may ask you to restart.

  3. Open Shadow and import your pairing file

Use a complete pairing file made for this iPhone. This page cannot create one. If you need a file, the Shadow desktop installer can set up your phone. Follow Shadow's connection instructions after importing.

Installation help

What does the certificate status mean?

Verified means the publisher last checked that build's certificate. Unknown means its current status hasn't been confirmed. Expired or revoked builds are unavailable. A verified status is a recent check, not a guarantee that iOS will accept the app on every device.

Why does iOS say it cannot verify or install the app?

The certificate may have been revoked since its last check, or iOS may reject it on your device. Return here and choose another available build. If none works, use the desktop installer.

Will this copy keep working forever?

A signed build can stop opening when its certificate expires or is revoked. This page does not renew installed apps. Check for another available build or use the desktop installer if that happens.

Can I finish setup without a computer?

Browser installation can put Shadow on your phone when a working signed build is available. Shadow also needs a valid, complete pairing file for this same phone. If you already have one, import it in Shadow. If you don't, use the desktop setup to create it.
